CHRIS BAKRIGES

“...feast your senses upon some of the most wonderfully written and robust music that seems expressly createdto fire up the imagination.” - Global Jazz Media

Chris Bakriges uses life’s beauty in the face of human hardship to influence his music. The resulting music presents a roller coaster of emotions, tempestuous, contemplative, lyrical and thrilling. His ethnomusicology background allows him to incorporate a wide range of influences, from jazz, global, blues, to chamber orientation. Bakriges released two CDs last year and has been performing nationally and internationally since 1992.

ZACH BROCK

"The pre-eminent improvising violinist of his generation."- Neil Tesser.

Zach Brock is a Grammy Award-winning violinist and composer whose music evokes the spirits of John Coltrane, Béla Bartók, and Jimi Hendrix. He has been recognized for his "soaring lyricism, audacious ingenuity, and masterful command of the instrument." Downbeat Magazine named Zach it's 'Rising Star Violinist' of 2013.
