Clay Hill Corners in Hartland, Vermont is a small-market garden and blueberry farm on 10 acres in Hartland, Vermont. Located 15 minutes outside of the Woodstock Village, this small but mighty farm, is the perfect spot for blueberry picking. Load up on heirloom tomatoes, beans, broccoli, garlic, salad greens, summer squash, cucumbers, handmade jams and honey, and even duck eggs from their small-market garden while you’re at it! Enjoy stunning views in all directions with spanning rolling hillsides.

SHERBURNE FARM / MOORE'S ORCHARD
Sherburne Farm and Moore's Orchard in Pomfret, Vermont is a favorite destination for locals during PYO season. Nestled in the quiet countryside of North Pomfret, just 15 minutes from downtown Woodstock, you’ll discover a picture-perfect family-run farm overflowing with fresh summer blueberries and a variety of PYO apples (think Honeycrisp, McIntosh, Macoun, Cortland, Empire, Northern Spy, and more) come autumn. A farm stand with Vermont maple syrup and seasonal squash, cider, and plants sweetens the deal.

WHITMAN BROOK ORCHARD
Apple connoisseurs, this one’s for you. Established in the 1920s, abandoned in 1968, and restored in 1995, Whitman Brook Orchard is what you-pick dreams are made of. In Vermont, we always take the scenic route. That means crossing the historic Taftsville Covered Bridge and traveling along Quechee Main Street, and twisting upward till you reach Wheelock Road, a stone’s throw from the Quechee Ski Hill. There, you’ll find a hillside dotted with over 100 varieties of apple trees, their gnarled arms overflowing with varieties you won’t find in the grocery store. Prepare your taste buds for a Duchess of Oldenburg, Pomme D'Or, Red Gravenstein, St. Edmond's Russet, and Centennial. Want to try “the apple that thinks it’s a pear”? Look no further.

WELLWOOD ORCHARDS
For an experience the whole family will enjoy head to Wellwood Orchards in Springfield, Vermont. Located 40 minutes south of Woodstock is a hidden gem with you-pick fruit all season long, beginning with strawberries in July, blueberries in August and ending with apples in the fall. Don’t miss all your favorite homegrown and locally made Vermont goodies in the country store and the petting zoo with peacocks, cows, chickens and goats. The baby goats are especially cute!

Patch Orchards
Pick your own apples and pumpkins at Patch Orchards in Lebanon, NH located 20 minutes from the Woodstock Village. While you're there be sure to stock up maple products from the Farmstand and try a tasting of their homemade hard cider. Don’t forget to return to Patch Orchards come December to cut down your own Christmas tree!

Edgewater Farm
Edgewater Farm in Plainfield serves their local community through a Farmstand, CSA, populates local grocery stores and offers berry picking for locals and tourists alike. Edgewater is 40 minutes from Woodstock, but worth the drive during Strawberry picking season! Don’t miss the delicious, fresh offerings in their farmstand.
Riverview Farm
Riverview Farm is another great destination in Plainfield for pick-your-own adventures. You can find everything from apples, pumpkins, gourds, squash, and corn mazes in the fall to summer berries and flowers. Their Barn Store is the perfect spot to enjoy a cup of hot mulled cider and a cider donut before embarking on your picking adventure in the fall or stocking up on local goodies like apple butter, maple syrup and honey. You won’t want to miss a sinfully delicious maple creemee at Mac’s Maple next door!
Cedar Circle
Cedar Circle Farm is a certified organic farm with strawberries (mid-late June), flowers, blueberries (mid July to late August), apples (August-October) and pumpkins (October). Another 40 minute drive that is well worth the trek! Treat yourself to an espresso from their Hello Cafe and stock up on farm fresh groceries from the Farmstand. Harvest your own flowers from their cut flower garden and load up on all the you-pick berries and fruits you can imagine. Don’t miss the Pumpkin Festival on Sunday, October 13th.
