Join us at Suicide 6 Ski Area for the return of the Vermont Symphony Orchestra's summer tour!

The VSO returns on its beloved statewide summer concert tour with “Celebrate!” conducted by Music Director candidate Julian Pellicano. Alongside perennial Pops favorite music by John Williams (Liberty and Olympic Fanfares) and John Philip Sousa (the rousing Stars and Stripes Forever), we’ll enjoy strains of Bernstein’s West Side Story, Copland’s feisty Rodeo, Rossini’s William Tell Overture, Quinn Mason’s sparkling A Joyous Fanfare (described by the composer as “very embodiment of happiness and cheerfulness, an accessible work that would put any listener in a good mood”) and more. VSO Principal Trombonist Matt Wright is our soloist for the concert.

We encourage you to bring a picnic blanket, folding chairs, and whatever you need to comfortably enjoy the outdoors, such as insect repellent and water. Sun umbrellas are welcome until the start of the concert. Flashlights are also suggested to help you find your way to your car after the sun has set. Smoking and animals (except assistance and service animals) are not allowed at any VSO performance.
