Meet at the VINS parking lot in Quechee at 9:30 AM, where you will be supplied with trash bags and a suggestion for where to go to beautify around and near our local rivers.

Join us to clean up our riverbanks on Vermont’s Green Up Day. On Saturday, May 7 at 9:30 AM, VINS, the Woodstock Inn & Resort, and the Greater Upper Valley Chapter of Trout Unlimited (GUVTU) are teaming up to make this Green Up Day all about our rivers. Meet at the VINS parking lot in Quechee at 9:30 AM, where you will be supplied with trash bags and a suggestion for where to go to beautify around and near our local rivers. VINS employees, the Woodstock Fishing Guides from the Woodstock Inn & Resort, and GUVTU members will be joining in the volunteer efforts.

We are so pleased that the Woodstock Inn & Resort and GUVTU are joining in to help VINS celebrate our 50 Year Anniversary by going back to VINS’ roots to clean our rivers. In 1972 VINS began with an effort to clean the Ottauquechee River, which was then a very polluted waterway. Today it flows with water that is clean and cool and supports a healthy population of wildlife. Join us to continue the tradition of keeping our local rivers clean.
