Create an original work of mandala art with 2024 Artist-in-Residence Amy Fortier. You will start with an 8 x 8 canvas with a template already pre-drawn on it (no blank canvases to intimidate you!). Amy will then teach you the simple steps needed to draw a mandala - a circular geometric design. You will then spend the rest of the time painting your creation with colors of your own choosing. No two canvases will be the same allowing for participants to create a collection, not a competition. No experience necessary. All levels welcome.

Amy has taught public and private art classes throughout the Upper Valley for the last decade at AVA, The Coop, Tuck, RVC, The Roth Center, Caldwell Law, St. Thomas Church, Putnam's, Harpoon and Long Trail! She is excited to be inspired and get creative with visitors at Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park.
