Creating a pizza

Events That's Amore! Pizza and Calzone Cooking Class

Date

-

Let's have a fun pizza workshop and make a calzone too!

At their mountaintop retreat, Chef Ted and Linda will introduce you to the overall theme and then lead a hands-on pizza and calzone-making class.

You’ll learn to make fresh dough and what it feels like for perfect pizzas, plus the secret to using shells for later use.

We'll grill pizza if the weather permits and we’ll use mostly organic, regional ingredients that come mainly from nearby Vermont farms.

Repeats regularly on most Friday evenings but contact us to change to another date, time, or a different class to suit your needs.

Have fun creating your own pizzas!

Though award-winning Chef Ted can teach you almost anything food related, for this event he will lead a hands-on pizza and calzone-making class.

You’ll learn how to:

  • make fresh dough
  • make shells for later use
  • treat toppings
  • make sauce
  • fashion a calzone
  • grill a pizza, weather permitting

We’ll use mostly organic and regional ingredients that come mainly from nearby Vermont farms.

  • Length: 3 hours
  • Gluten-free option available with advance notice
  • Good for children five years of age or older
