New! Virtual Talk – The Language of Wolves

Friday, July 16 / 6 PM – 7 PM

Join us for this special Virtual Magnificent Mammal Day Event to learn about wolves and how scientists study them. Viewers of all ages will be intrigued and delighted as we learn about how wolves communicate. Mammalogist, Dr. Cheryl Asa, will discuss her research and translate, as best as any human can, the complex language of these charismatic and often misunderstood predators. From visual signals and scent marks to vocalizations, wolves have an amazing array of ways they communicate with each other and others. It may even answer some of the questions you have about what your dog is trying to say to you.
