Join VINS for a two-part workshop this spring! Ever wake to the dawn chorus of songbirds and wonder who is singing outside your window? Want to get better at identifying birds by sight and sound?
Part 1 consists of a virtual workshop which will introduce you to common birds of the Upper Valley region. Become familiar with these birds by sight and sound and start building your birding foundation. VINS is using Zoom video conferencing technology for this virtual workshop. Participants must have access to a computer, tablet or smartphone.
Then, in Part 2, we will take an early morning birding adventure through the various habitats at the VINS Nature Center. During this workshop, VINS staff will open your eyes and ears to the avian life around you and help you develop the skills to start birding wherever you go. These workshops are designed for the beginner to intermediate birder.
The Guided Bird Walks will be held outdoors, rain or shine. Participants should dress for the weather. Field guide and binoculars recommended, if you have them.
