Welcome to the fascinating world of insects! Renowned insect expert Sam Jaffe will showcase a multitude of live caterpillars from The Caterpillar Lab. Learn about the importance of pollinators and meet a local beekeeper. In addition, you’ll get to meet entomologists who study the small insects found in streams and lakes. Through demonstrations, exhibits, games and crafts, visitors to the VINS Nature Center will have a fun day discovering the insects we share our planet with.
