Listen for the dialogue between the clarinet, the winds through the reeds and the wood with the wooden soundboard of the piano resonating with counter melodies, full harmonies and more. Composers like Brahms, Finzi, Saint-Saëns and more have been capturing this blend in wonderful works. Performed by top musicians Matthew Marsit , clarinet, and pianist Annemieke McLane.

About the duo:

Matthew Marsit  (as the director of bands for the Hopkins Center for the Performing Arts at Dartmouth College) and Annemieke McLane (as pianist for the Handel Society and Theater Department at Dartmouth College), met and heard each other's playing and decided to perform together. Sharing a passion for this wonderful repertoire.
