Events Christmas at the Farm

Date

-

Billings Farm & Museum will be closed on December 24 and 25

Throughout December, guests can step back into a Victorian Christmas and experience the farm beautifully transformed with twinkling lights and natural décor. Traditional 19th-century decorations will adorn the 1890 Farm Manager’s House, where visitors can take a self-guided tour. Families are invited to enjoy timeless holiday activities such as candle dipping in the Historic Barn, crafting pie crust dough in the Learning Kitchen, or exploring the Billings Loop by snowshoe, ski, or walking, weather permitting. Visitors can warm up at the outdoor fire pits and savor a steaming cup of hot cocoa or coffee, available for purchase. On select days, horse-drawn wagon or sleigh rides will offer a charming tour through the picturesque winter landscape. To complete the experience, guests can browse the Museum Gift Shop for unique, Vermont-made holiday gifts for friends and family.
