Harvest Celebration, Saturday, October 7 & Sunday, October 8, 10AM – 5PM

Gather and celebrate the change of the season with harvest activities, food, and fun for the whole family.  This lively two-day Harvest Celebration will feature traditional barn dancing, live music, pumpkin bowling, crafts, stories, and all kinds of harvest activities.  Guests can take a picturesque wagon ride through the pastures, husk and shell corn, harvest sunflower seeds for next year’s garden, and press apples into delicious cider. Help gather ripe produce in the Farmstead Gardens, learn all about the varieties of apples in Vermont, and sample the sweet and savory combination of apples and Billings Farm Cheddar Cheeses.

The Farmhouse Scoop Shop will feature the quintessential taste of fall: spiced cider and apple cider donuts, available for purchase from 11:00AM – 4:30PM.  The Wicked Awesome BBQ Food Truck will be on site Saturday and Sunday from 11:00AM – 4:00PM, serving traditional American BBQ for purchase.   The Harvest Celebration is included with daily admission to Billings Farm & Museum.
