BarnArts presents A Midsummer Night's Dream by William Shakespeare, directed by Linda Treash, Voice and Text direction by Amy Leavitt.  Outdoors at Feast & Field in Barnard, VT, June 25 & 26, 6:30pm June 27, 4pm July 1 & 2, 6:30pm July 3, 2pm & 6:30pm.  Tickets: $20 Adults, $15 Students.  Tickets and more info: barnarts.org.



Not about trees and fairies, A Midsummer Night’s Dream is a complex play about love, in all its different shades of meaning. Love expresses itself in free and theatrical ways by the endless changing of forms, gears and levels. The three groups — the Lovers, the Mechanicals, and the Immortals — each arrive at a point of crisis which precipitates into a state of chaos in the woods at night. Order is restored only after each character has undergone some transformation in which lessons have been learned. This is Shakespeare at his most lyrical, in his most perfectly structured play.

A Shakespeare performance for all ages! Performed outdoors at Feast & Field (original location) 1544 Royalton TPK, in Barnard, VT.   



Come early, bring a picnic and enjoy the farm.  Non-alcoholic drinks and snacks will be available for purchase.  BYOB.



Performances will be canceled due to bad weather.  In case of cancellation, tickets will be good at any other performance.



Seating will be on a partially-shaded, grassy lawn.  We have some chairs, but camp chairs and blankets are welcome.
