The Woodstock Vt Shopping district is comprised of small, locally-owned independent  retail stores. Whether it is Vermont's oldest Bookshop, established in 1935 or a shops that carries Ibex, Patagonia and Barbour- not to mention bicycles, Birkenstock, Frye and Horney Toad- Woodstock has it all. You will find  a working General Store established in 1886 where you can find fine wines, imported coffee, kitchen supplies and hardware-all under one roof! Art Galleries home decor, fine Jewelry and a pharmacy. Woodstock offers all this in a pleasant-walkable down town! Close by there are well known artisans like Simon Pearce, Shakelton Thomas and Farmhouse Pottery.

The President Calvin Coolidge State Historic Site is found in Plymouth Notch, Vermont, a small community hidden away among the Green Mountains. The site is owned by the State of Vermont and operated by the Vermont Division for Historic Preservation. In Plymouth Notch on the Fourth of July, 1872, Calvin Coolidge, the Thirtieth President of the United States, was born.
